Céline Lebel: Constantly Inspiring Young Learners

Céline Lebel, born and raised in Montpellier, in the south of France, launched her teaching career in 2002. Having studied in France, England and the United States, she received her bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Linguistics and her Qualified Teacher Status (French and Spanish as a second language).

Celine’s teaching style is modeled after how she would want her own children to be taught. She takes great pride in having an impact on the lives of her little learners and developing the foundation that will help form their future.

She is currently a Grade 1 teacher and primary coordinator for information technology at TFS – Canada’s International School.

When Céline isn’t teaching, preparing for her M.Ed. this year, or creating apps, you can find her spending quality family time with her husband and sons, or squeezing in training time for a 10 km race.

« I like the tactile functionality of the app, which gives students immediate feedback and allows them to master proper letter formation. The students really like the app because it provides them with a sense of responsibility and control over their learning. »

– Martine Humbert, Grade 1 teacher at TFS – Canada’s International School
